Atomic International Pronunciation (AIP): a word is divided into a group of atomic sounds written by International Phonetic Alphabet, such as: hot, hɑːt => pronounce (h) => pronounce (ɑː) => pronounce (hɑː) => pronounce(t) => pronounce(hɑːt)
In Vietnam, we use this way to teach pupils to learn Vietnamese language successfully. But in Vietnamese,letters of a word in paper and letters for sounds seem the same, such as con cá, c-o-co-con, c-a-(sắc)-cá.
In English, they are different: Letters for English sounds in International Phonetic Alphabet. Most letters are Latin, Greek, Arabic, specially Kabiye language.
When we use the way, it will answer you any questions about pronunciation.

Because j is semi-vowel sound. We have to make a connected speech.
Why I call it Atomic International Pronunciation.
Atomic: it’s a unique sound, we can’t divide it into smaller sounds.
The letter J is not a unique sound: ef, two sounds e and f, e is a vowel sound. So the phrase ‘the FPI’, we must pronounce (ðiː ef biː aɪ, not ðə ef biː aɪ). We have 20 vowel sounds in IPA. We shouldn’t learn u, i, e, o, a are vowel sounds, they are only letters.
International: we can use the way for any language.
It will be successful for non-native speakers, even native speakers. Why?
I just learned International Phonetic Alphabet and the new way, AIP, in a few weeks but Vietnam is successful in learning Vietnamese language by the way.
Americans think the sounds like default in a certain group of sounds when hearing the sounds from 1 to 6 years old, then they can learn English at school quickly, but non-native speakers think so weird. They don’t know why we have to pronounce it like that. When the sounds become atomic sounds, the issue is clear. They will pronounce like native speakers exactly. We often say: “ I copy American pronunciation but Americans don’t understand me?” because your thought tricks you. Please watch Sounds American channel to practise your mouth and your tongue.
Vietnamese people have mindsets of monism, we think that a word will be pronounced by one version but a word has many versions. Think about Dualism, often we have two major versions for a word, like (hot) with a puff of air or without a puff of air.
By the way, when we hear a new word, we don’t know how to write before. We can transfer to atomic sounds and write exactly, our learning process will run faster.
Use it for AI, the robot can learn itself, it can realize a new word from sounds.
I can’t hear Indian people speaking English. Like Japanese and Vietnamese people, we speak English with Vietnamese accent. The thought is wrong because each sound is unique.
We should pronounce 1000 words in 1 year like grade 1.

When we pronounce a sentence, it’s different from pronouncing each word of the sentence. So you can watch some channels: Learn English With TV Series, Rachel’s English. You have to speak strong and with intonation through music.
You should spend 80–90% of your time learning Speaking. You have to spend at least 4 hour per day in 4 years to speak like Americans.
You shouldn’t learn English from Vietnamese teachers, you only ask them how they feel and learn English in 1 hour. Youtube and wikipedia, TV series are your teachers, learn from American people. It’s the best way to help a person speaking English perfectly. Then, you have to think for yourself, and always ask a question: “why?”.
I suggest that English centers, Vietnam ministry of education and training use my way to teach English because I think we fail.
